How Beautiful is Islam - Level KG2 - ما أحلى الإسلام

The Islam is Beautiful! book for KG2 has 64 pages and 28 lessons. It includes subjects such as: some short surahs of the Holy Qur'an, some etiquettes, well-known supplications, some acts of worship, and good manners. It also deals with aspects of the Prophet’s (pbuh) biography, his honorable companions, and some principles of faith.

• The short surahs included in this book are: Al-Feel, Quraysh, Al-Masad, Al-Qadr, and Al-Kawthar. Children will read and memorize these surahs.
• Etiquettes that the book focuses on teaching include: remembering the name of Allah before eating, the etiquette of reciting the Holy Qur'an, the etiquette of supplication, and the etiquette of speaking to others.
• Well-known, useful supplications such as the supplication for looking in the mirror, for sleeping and waking up, for entering the mosque and exiting it, and for entering the house and exiting it are included in this book.
• Acts of worship described in this book include the purification with water, prayers, and fasting.
• Ethical principles such as honesty, self-reliance, obedience to parents, being a good friend, and respecting public and private property are described.
• Aspects of the Prophet’s (pbuh) biography such as his foster care and his tolerance and forgiveness towards others are included, as well as some aspects of the biography of Abu Bakr As-Saddiq (ra).
• The main principle of faith included in this book is the truth about the universe—that Allah (swt) created it and everything in it, including humans, animals, and plants—as well as the importance of being thankful to Allah for His many blessings, such as food, water, our senses, health, and more.

This book includes three nasheeds (songs) that encourage honesty, following the example of the Prophet (pbuh), choosing friends wisely, respecting nature and neighbors, respecting public places (like parks), and sincere love towards parents (whom Allah (swt) ordered us to be kind and righteous to).

All of the lessons in the book are illustrated and include a variety of activities that take into consideration differences between learners. Children will love that these features allow them to have fun while they learn.
