Promoting Islamic Literacy, Strengthening Community Relationships & Fundraising with Islamic Book Fairs

Are you looking for a way to promote the love of reading and Islam among your students while also fostering a sense of community in your school? Look no further than an Islamic book fair with Al Barakah Books!

We are excited to offer schools the opportunity to host an Islamic book fair at your school. This event is not just any book fair, it's a chance to inspire a love of reading among your students, build their Iman through authentic Islamic content, strengthen your bonds with the Muslim community around you, and actually raise funds for your school at the same time.

Here are just a few reasons why you an Islamic book fair hosted by Al Barakah Books at your school would be such an awesome idea:

    1. It's a fun and engaging way to promote reading among students. With over 250 Islamic Story books and leisure titles alone, our book fairs provide a unique opportunity for students to browse through a wide variety of books and discover new titles that they may not have found otherwise. This can inspire a love of reading that lasts a lifetime.

    2. Islamic children's books are a great way to introduce children to Islamic knowledge, culture and values that go beyond what school curriculum can cover and do so in a fun way. Through these books, students can learn about the Quran, Prophets, faith and practices, our rich Islamic history, culture and more.

    3. It's a great way to raise funds for your school. By hosting an Islamic book fair, your school can earn a percentage of the proceeds from book sales. This money can be used to support other programs or resources that benefit students.

    4. You are not just limited to books - you are welcome to invite local Muslim businesses to join the event to showcase their products and services. Local businesses selling everything from Islamic gifts, clothing, prayer mats, and even food. This doesn't just help support the local businesses, it makes the event more interesting for the community so more people attend and since everyone contributes a percentage of their proceeds to your school, you are able to raise even more funds.

    5. It's a unique and exciting event that can create a buzz in your community. By hosting an Islamic book fair, your school can stand out and attract more students to your programs. This can help create a positive image for your school and build a sense of belonging among students, parents, staff and the wider community.

    6. An Islamic book fair that is open to public is a great Dawah opportunity. Invite the general community to your book fair and let them have an introduction to the beautiful world of Islam. If Allah wills, this might just be the place which piques someone's curiosity and opens their hearts to learn about Islam and even revert to Islam one day.

So what are you waiting for? Hosting an Islamic book fair is a great way to promote reading, cultural understanding, and community in your school. And with our extensive selection of Islamic children's books, we can provide all the resources and support you need to make your book fair a success.

I would like to host a book fair at the pre k-12 islamic school that I teach at. I thought of scholastic but am worried that they may have books unsuitable to islamic standards. I am hoping to find an islamic alternative.
